What is the cost of opening a Submerchant Program?
PPG charges a one-time, non-refundable set up fee (Please contact us for details) to open a PPG Submerchant account.
Who can become a Submerchant?
In general, the Submerchant can be a corporate entity or an individual.
How long does it take to start a Submerchant Program?
It typically takes between 3 to 5 weeks to bring a new Submerchant’s generic prepaid card to market upon KYC approvals. The nature of your business and industry it is related to will influence the KYC approval process.
What will the Submerchant have access to?
Submerchants have access to cardholder data via the PPG Portal. Other services allowing you to break down spending by merchant class for marketing purposes, tracking spending with partners and identifying cardholder trends are available on request.
PPG offers a discounted a Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification program to assist in the KYC process for prepaid card application and issuance.
Submerchants also can have access to a discounted bundling offer with a comprehensive, annual multi-trip family travel insurance as an added benefit for their cardholders.

What are the Cardholder limits?
All initial Cardholders, upon submission of Proof of ID and Proof of Address and having cleared Stage 2 KYC, will be able to load up to USD/ EUR/ GBP 80,000.00 per year.
Upon submission of Proof of Source of Funds at Stage 3 KYC, Cardholders will be able to load up to USD/ EUR/ GBP 200,000.00 per year. Please contact usfor more information or to request for a copy of the PPG Submerchant Presentation Deck.
What will the Cardholder receive?
Cardholders will receive a generic reloadable prepaid card with a Secured EMV Chip and PIN that works just like any credit/debit card, allowing cardholders to make purchases online, in-store or over the phone, as well as to withdraw cash from ATMs.
Cardholders have full access to their accounts via their own Cardholder Portals. The Cardholder Portal is a full online banking tool for managing and accessing card accounts and perform the following transactions :
- Upgrade card limits
- View transaction history
- Manage personal profile
- Check balance and account info
- Report lost/ stolen card
- Request a plastic card to be mailed to their address
- Perform Card2Card transfers
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
MoQ is dependent on the industry that the Submerchant’s company is in.PPG representatives will be able to advise Submerchants on the MoQ required.
